Thinking Pink!

EmpiriStat is sending in its own “Pink Warriors” in the battle against Breast Cancer. While the country gears up for another year in raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer research, EmpiriStat is contributing to the effort by participating in GRSi’s “Go for the Green Play for Pink!” golf tournament in Frederick, Maryland. Recognizing this worthwhile event, and having fun doing it, EmpiriStat is also an official corporate hole sponsor and donating give-aways to all of the players. As the EmpiriStat “ladies” play golf, some of the EmpiriStat “gentlemen” will be volunteering to help out the event organizers throughout the day. They are expecting over 100 golfers plus a host of volunteers from the local area. With that kind of turn out they should be able to reach their goal of raising $10,000. All proceeds for the event will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. ®

The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. NBCF accomplishes this mission through various initiatives. NBCF programs provide women help for today and hope for tomorrow.

EmpiriStat may not have scored any birdies at the very successful "Play for Pink" golf charity fundraiser, but a great time was had by all, especially for such an important cause.

Event sponsor, GRSi reports that the $10,000 donation target was well-surpassed!

EmpiriStat's "Pink Warriors", while not exactly performing like Annika Sorenstam, went above and beyond, even on the golf course.

Meanwhile, the rest of the EmpiriStat team had fun helping keep the event organized and the golf carts parked.
